China's retail sales up 15 pct in Q1, 2009

BEIJING, April 16 (Xinhua) -- China's retail sales grew 15 percent to 2.94 trillion yuan (430.4 billion U.S. dollars) in the first quarter this year, the National Bureau of Statistics said Thursday.
