Plane shoots off runway at Madrid airport

MADRID, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- A plane skidded off the runway when taking off at Madrid airport Wednesday, said the Spanish national radio.

The plane, which belongs to Spanish airline Spanair shot off the runway at Terminal Four. No further detail is available but there could be deaths, according to the airport authority.
