BEIJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- German Chancellor Gerhard Schroederarrived here Monday afternoon, starting a three-day working visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.

Top Chinese leaders including Hu Jintao, Wu Bangguo and Wen Jiabao will meet or hold talks with Schroeder in Beijing.

The German chancellor will also visit Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province, accompanied by Chinese Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan, who visited Germany two weeks ago and met Schroeder in Berlin.

This is Schroeder's sixth visit to China.
