BEIJING, March 4 (Xinhuanet) -- China's parliament, the National People's Congress (NPC), will review the request of Jiang Zemin to resign as chairman of the State Central Military Commission (CMC) in the upcoming annual session beginning Saturday, a spokesman forthe NPC annual session said here Friday.

Spokesman Jiang Enzhu told the press that the third session of the 10th NPC will also elect the new chairman of the State CMC, and decide on the members of the commission, at the nomination of the new chairman.
