FM: China-Pakistan strategic dialogue fruitful

BEIJING, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said here Tuesday that important achievements had been made in the China-Pakistan strategic dialogue.

China and Pakistan held the second strategic dialogue on Oct. 27 in Beijing. Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai and visiting Pakistani Foreign Secretary Riaz H. Khokhar exchanged views on cooperation in various fields.

The two sides reached important consensus during their meeting, Liu told a regular press conference.

Riaz paid the China tour also to make preparation for high level visits between the two nations' leaders, Liu noted.
