Hong Kong director Tsui Hark took leave from his warrior epics and now has dedicated his talents in a new direction: city comedy. His latest movie "Bad Women" started shooting in Beijing, Tuesday. It stars young idol Zhou Xun and rising stars Gui Lunmei and Zhang Yuqi.
"Bad Women" is a complete turn around from director Tsui Hark's past warrior flicks like "Legend of Mount Shu" and "Seven Swords". He wants to try his hand at light city comedy. The title of the film picks up on the urban conventional wisdom that "Girls always fall in love with a bad guy."
Three lead actresses stepped up to the T-stage looking very cool in the film. In "Bad Women", Tsui plans to extend his unrestrained shooting style, mixing elements of comedy, fashion and magic. He will get into the loves and careers of three modern women living in a metropolitan city.
