English learning frenzy in Beijing

People overseas have been learning a lot about Chinese culture as world attention turns to this year's olympics. But As China prepares to welcome the world at the 2008 Beijing Games, the number of people learning English in this country has shot up.

Many people have taken up English, saying they want to be more internationalized, in order to be able to welcome China's Olympic visitors.
