Draw for wheelchair basketball made

Competitors are starting to find out how they'll match up for the wheelchair basketball events at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. Officials held the the first competition draw for the Beijing Paralympics on Wednesday.

International Paralympic Committee President Philip Craven inaugurated the draw. As the host nation, China was allowed to choose its desired group. The Chinese wheelchair basketball men's and women's team both selected Group B. Then, the draw was made with 12 men's teams and 10 women's teams in Group A and B.

The wheelchair basketball competition at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games will take place from September 7th to 16th.
