HK's toilet-themed restaurant: Love it or hate it, try it

Diners don't usually expect to enjoy a meal in the bathroom. But at a themed restaurant in Hong Kong, tucking in while on the toilet is exactly what's called for.

Sitting on a toilet seat, tasting food from a toilet-shaped bowl, and admiring rows of urinals hanging on the wall.

This toilet-themed restaurant in downtown Hong Kong may not be the best place to take a first date. But it does attract people of all ages, from teenagers to families.

Some come for the unique decoration and environment, as long as they're not repelled by the thought of eating out of a toilet bowl.

Customer Rito Ho said, "The decoration is very special. I like it very much. I don't find it disgusting."

Customer Molly Law said, "These utensils are beautiful. They are unlike the real things at home. The beautiful toilets give a different feeling. Think in an artistic way. I would not think of going to the toilet."

But others prefer to focus on the food, and not on the environment.

Customer Frankie Fan said, "The appearance is disgusting, but I just regard it as having a meal."
