Torch relay in Jakarta concludes

The Olympic torch has successfully concluded its relay journey through Jakarta.

Eighty torchbearers took part in the seven-kilometer relay. Thousands of spectators cheered the runners and waved Chinese and Indonesian flags along the route.

The two-hour event opened with traditional Indonesian music and dance, and culminated with the lighting of the Olympic cauldron at the Bung Karno Sports Complex. Liu Ming has this report from Jakarta.
