In Myanmar the official death toll from cyclone Nargis has risen to 351. The storm swept through Myanmar on Friday and Saturday.

Local media reports say more than 92,000 people have been left homeless. The cyclone made landfall in southwestern coastal areas on Friday morning. Packing winds of over 190 kilometers per hour, Nargis also hit the biggest city Yangon early on Saturday morning, capsizing several ships in the Yangon Port.

Myanmar's government has declared five regions disaster zones, and set up a special team to carry out relief and resettlement work.
