Shanghai concludes Olympic Torch Relay

The Olympic torch finished its relay in Shanghai on Saturday, after touring the city for 2 days. Following a one-minute silence to mourn the earthquake victims, famed footballer Sun Wen first carried the torch in the Shanghai Stadium, which will host 15 soccer matches during the Beijing Olympic Games.

It then passed Shanghai Communications University, a Sports and Holiday Complex and the Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center. Donations were given at the closing ceremony. The flame will move on to Suzhou on Sunday.
