Bus service to Jiuzhaigou resumes

The May 12th quake damaged several tourism resorts in Sichuan. But Jiuzhaigou Valley was spared. On Wednesday, bus service from Chengdu resumed.

Tourism resources and infrastructure facilities in Jiuzhaigou Valley on the whole were not damaged by the quake. But road disruptions brought a halt to bus service from Chengdu. Now, regular transport has resumed, with minor route changes as a precaution.

The trip from Chengdu to the Valley takes 10 hours, and the bus leaves at 8:40 am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
