It will soon be two months since the tremor. Support for victims of the May 12th quake remains constant, from all walks of life in China. Not long ago, a hundred renowned painters came to Beijing to donate art works to help quake victims.
The event was attended by artists from home and abroad. Some who couldn't be present posted their works to Beijing. Li Hongshu, who is 71, donated his ten-meter scroll painting "Peony." The work took more than two months to finish. Artists say they will continue to do all they can to help quake victims.
The painters pledge to stand - whenever they are needed.
