5 Moroccans killed in plane crash in SE France: media

RABAT, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Five Moroccan nationals died Saturday when their private plane crashed shortly after taking off from the Grenoble Airport in southeastern France, the official MAP news agency reported.

The five passengers were a businessman, 46, his wife, 43, and their three kids. They were returning to Morocco from their new year vacation in France, MAP said.

The Morocco-registered plane, which departed from the airport in the village of Saint-Pierre-de-Bressieux, was due to make a stop in Spain.
