¡@PARIS, Jan. 26(Xinhuanet)-- The French government is"reasonablyoptimistic" about the"solid" growth forecast in 2005, while remaining"attentive" to the evolution of oil prices and the dollar, French government spokesman Jean-Francois Cope said on Wednesday.
"We observe that the growth engines are started," Cope told journalists after a
ministers meeting, referring to"consumption, investment and exportations".
The government will be vigilant about the public finance control and"attentive to the evolution of oil prices and the dollar," he added.
"The good level of our exportation is greatly due to the fact that the euro is an element of major stabilization in Europe and agreat part of our exportations are within the euro area," he noted.
He also said that at Thursday's governmental seminar focusing on the budget for 2006, some hypotheses would be mentioned, such as public expenditures, fiscal and social finance strategy, etc.
