Poland to receive over$100b from EU budget

WARSAW, Dec. 19(Xinhuanet)-- Poland is to receive over 91 billion euros(109.2 billion US dollars) from EU budget from the year 2007 to 2013, said Polish Minister for European affairs Jaroslaw Pietras at a new conference on Monday

The money includes 60 billion euros(72 billion dollars) of EU structural and cohesion funds and nearly 27 billion euros(32.4 billion dollars) destined for Polish agricultural sector, according to Pietras.

The rest of money is for scientific research, border protection, and fighting terrorism, etc, he added.

Pietras said Poland worked hard in the budget negotiation to get better results for Poland and these are badly needed money for Poland. Enditem
