BEIJING, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- China's national business climate index (BCI) registered 136.7 points in the third quarter, up 4.7 points over the same period last year, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has said. The BCI score for the mining and real estate sectors dropped 3.0 points and 2.4 points from the second quarter to 159.6 points and 132.6 points, respectively. Scores for manufacturing, and the wholesale and retail sector, stood at 133.1 points and 142.0 points, respectively. Large, middle and small-sized firms saw their BCI figures increase by 6.7 points, 3.9 points and 1.8 points over the third quarter of last year.
