China to add 27 new air routes to Europe, America

BEIJING, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- China's civil aviation authority said it has approved 27 new international routes to Europe and America.

The routes will be opened in the next two years. In addition, there will be 206 more flights per week on the existing routes to Europe and America, said the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC).

The new routes will be run by Air China, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and Hainan Airlines, which have introduced aircrafts such as Boeing B787 and Airbus A380.
