China-US trade soars to US$221.36b

TRADE between China and the United States in the first three quarters of this year surged 15.6 percent from the same period last year to US$221.36 billion.

According to customs data, China's exports to the US increased 15.8 percent to US$169.99 billion, or 19.4 percent of China's total exports.

The country's imports from the US jumped 15.1 percent to US$51.37 billion, or 7.45 percent of the country's total imports.
