Gold price higher in Hong Kong -- April 8

HONG KONG, April 8 (Xinhua) -- The gold price in Hong Kong went up 71 HK dollars to 8,537 HK dollars per tael on Tuesday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).
The price is equivalent to 920.86 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 7.66 U.S. dollars at Tuesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.782 HK dollars.
