Chinese shares rise slightly with shrinking turnover

BEIJING, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares rose slightly on Friday with the key benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.6 percent to 3,492.89.
The Shenzhen Component Index on the smaller Shenzhen Stock Exchange closed at 13,328.11 points, up 41.43 points, or 0.31 percent.
The combined turnover further dwindled to 91.5 billion yuan (13billion U.S. dollars) from 95.69 billion yuan on Thursday.
