NEW YORK - Stocks are trading lower after a weaker-than-expected profit report from Bank of America Corp. raised concerns about the health of corporate earnings.

Bank of America reported that first-quarter earnings have fallen 77 percent on write-downs and widening credit losses. The report is making some investors nervous after strong gains in the stock market last week.

The Dow Jones industrial average is down 67 points at 12,783.
