Chinese shares jump 4.15% led by financial rally

BEIJING, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares surged 4.15 percent on Wednesday by a rally in financial, metal and mining stocks.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, closed up 4.15 percent, or 130.54 points to 3,278.33 on Wednesday.
The Shenzhen Component Index added 5.45 percent to 11,784.15.
Aggregate turnover reached 120 billion yuan (about 17.1 billion U.S. dollars), up from 86.60 billion yuan on Tuesday.
