Chinese share prices edged higher Wednesday morning led by airlines and oil companies after crude prices hit a two-month low overnight, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers A and B shares, was up 19.77 points, or 0.69 percent, at 2,870.09.
The Shanghai A-share index added 20.78 points, or 0.69 percent, to 3,010.81, while the Shenzhen A-share index rose 7.80 points, or 0.87 percent, at 905.63.
