China top banking official sacked for corruption

BEIJING, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Wang Yi, vice president of the China Development Bank, was sacked from his official post and stripped of his membership in the Communist Party of China (CPC) for "severe violation of disciplines and the law," the CPC disciplinary watchdog said Wednesday.
