Airbus to deliver first China-assembled A320 jet

TIANJIN, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Airbus will deliver the first China-assembled A320 jet on Tuesday in north China's port city of Tianjin where the manufacturer's only plant outside Europe is located.

The plane, which had a successful test flight on May 18, will be delivered to Dragon Aviation Leasing and will be operated by Sichuan Airlines.
