Six provinces in Central China have become seen as first choice for multinational companies, the fifth Expo Central China 2010 held during Semptember 26 to 28 in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province showed.

Many well-known companies from home and abroad attended the expo, and many of their representatives pointed out that these provinces boast more advantages that range from rich natural resources, low labor costs to substantial support from the government.

Guo Zhicheng, director of the China-Britain Business Council said that in the past, many British companies would give preference to Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen to invest, but the high costs of these cities have made them look for other alternatives like Nanchang.

Li Xiaojun, vice president of Coca Cola China, said that the firm's consolidation in Henan has brought it a super fast growth compared with other areas of the country; and it will further increase investments there.
