Wall St opens higher on dollar weakness

NEW YORK – Wall Street opened higher on Monday as the U.S. dollar fell after a meeting of the Group of 20 stopped short of setting targets to reduce trade imbalances.

The Dow Jones industrial average was up 57.75 points, or 0.52 percent, at 11,190.31. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 8.51 points, or 0.72 percent, at 1,191.59. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 15.92 points, or 0.64 percent, at 2,495.31.
