China to streamline rare earth industry within five years

BEIJING, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- China will strive to streamline its rare earth industry within five years, said Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao at an executive meeting of the State Council, or the Cabinet, on Wednesday.
