Chinese stocks end lower Tuesday

BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares ended lower Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.94 percent, or 22.04 points, to finish at 2,334.99.
The Shenzhen Component Index edged down 1.6 percent, or 160.39 points, to close at 9,839.92.
