China stocks rise at midday

BEIJING, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares went up on Friday morning, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rising 0.42 percent to end the morning session at 2,382.29.
The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 0.8 percent to close at 10,222.95.
