Chinese shares up 0.28% in morning trade

Chinese shares were up 0.28 percent in early trade Friday following overnight gains in US stocks, which rose on hopes for more stimulus measures from the US Federal Reserve, dealers said.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers A and B shares, added 6.38 points to 2,302.33.
