(Xinhua/Zhang Ailin)QINZHOU, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- The port of Qinzhou, a major link between south China and Southeast Asia located in south China's Guangxi, saw its cargo throughput between January and October rise to 112 million tonnes, growing 15.4 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, the port's container throughput grew 33.8 percent to reach 3.114 million TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units).
Since a new land-sea freight route was launched in 2017, an increasing number of trains have carried goods to and from the Qinzhou port, connecting many western Chinese regions with Southeast Asia.
