Massive collision on Chinese highway kills 24

  BEIJING, Jan 24 (AP) -- A 13-vehicle collision on a highway in southern China killed 24 people and left 30 others injured, news reports said Monday.

  The accident occurred at about 7 p.m. (1100 GMT) Sunday on the highway near the city of Enping in Guangdong province, the official Xinhua News Agency and the Nanfang Online Web site reported.

  The cause was under investigation, the reports said.

  Enping is about 180 kilometers (110 miles) west of Hong Kong.
