President Hu visits military camps before Spring Festival

BEIJING, Feb. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao visited two military camps of the airforce and armored force of the Beijing Military Area Command on Wednesday, just a week before the Spring Festival.

Hu, also General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission, inspected the construc
tion of the camps and extended greetings to military officers and soldiers.

Accompanied by senior military leaders, Hu heard work reports and had informal discussions with officers and soldiers. He also had a lunch and enjoyed entertainment programs with soldiers.
