Leaders visit veterans on eve of Spring Festival

BEIJING, Feb. 6(Xinhuanet)-- Chinese leaders visited or asked others to visit retired former senior officials of the Communist Party of China, the National People's Congress, the State Council, and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference on the eve of the Spring Festival, the Chinese Lunar New Year.

They gave festive greetings to the veterans and hoped they would enjoy a happy
Spring Festival and keep fit.

These veterans include Li Peng, Wan Li, Qiao Shi, Zhu Rongji, Li Ruihuan, Song Ping, Liu Huaqing, Wei Jianxing, Li Lanqing, Rong Yiren, Bo Yibo and Li Desheng.
