Helicopter crashes into cargo ship in Shanghai port

BEIJING, Feb 10 (AP) -- A helicopter hired by the Shanghai port authority crashed into a Singaporean cargo ship in the Yangtze River on Thursday, killing at least one passenger, the government said.

Four people were aboard the MD922 helicopter when it crashed while on a flight to transport the ship's pilot, the official Xinhua News Agency said. It s
aid one dead body was found and two people were missing.

The helicopter's Canadian pilot was rescued, the report said, citing the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration.

The cause of the accident was under investigation.
