Coalmine blast kills at least 25 in NE China

SHENYANG, Feb. 14(Xinhuanet)-- At least 25 miners were killed and other 19 injured in a coalmine gas explosion Monday afternoon in Fuxin city, northeast China's Liaoning Province, according to the Liaoning Coalmine Safety Supervision Bureau.

The bureau said that 194 others were trapped underground.
