Five die in north China road accident

TAIYUAN, Feb. 27(Xinhuanet)-- Five people were killed and more than 30 injured Saturday night after a bus turned over in north China's Shanxi Province, local traffic police said Sunday.

A bus from Hanzhong, a city in neighboring Shaanxi Province, hit the roadside barriers and flipped over on the expressway between Yuncheng to Fenglingdu in Yongji at about 11:00 p.m. Saturday.

Five people died on the spot and the injured were hospitalized in Yongji.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, traffic police said.
