Presidential order issued to promulgate Anti-Secession Law

BEIJING, March 14 (Xinhuanet) -- President Hu Jintao Monday issued a presidential order regarding the promulgation of the Anti-Secession Law, which was just adopted at the Third Session of the Tenth National People's Congress, China's top legislature.

The following is the full text of the presidential order:

The Anti-Secession Law, adopted at the Third Session of the Tenth National People's Congress of the People's Republic of Chinaon March 14, 2005, is hereby promulgated and shall go into effect as of the date of promulgation.
