Traffic collision kills seven people in S. China

HAIKOU, March 27(Xinhuanet)-- Seven people were killed Sunday in a traffic collision in south China's Hainan Province, said local police.

The accident occurred at about 01:00 am in Sanya when a taxi carrying six passengers ran into an oil box of a truck. The seven, including all the passengers and the taxi driver, died at the scene. The truck driver who escaped and is wanted by the police.

Overloading is believed the main cause of the accident and further investigation is underway. Enditem
