BEIJING, April 29(Xinhuanet)-- People's Daily, the leading newspaper in China, will publish a commentator's article Saturday, urging officials and governments at all levels to"always keep in mind" the fundamental interests of the masses, which serve as the point of departure as well as the goal of"all our work."

Government officials should"do good and practical things in the interest of the masses, and solve their problems." This will help bring their enthusiasm, initiative and creativity into full play, according to the commentary to be carried by the People's Daily on April 30, one day before International Labor Day.

The article adds that the most powerful strength, which ensures the success of"our cause," comes into shape whenever the fundamental interests of the broad masses are properly met."We can, by joining our efforts, create a happy life and promising future" by doing"everything in the interests of the masses and relying on their efforts."
