Survivor of Hebei coal mine blast out of critical condition

CHENGDE, Hebei, May 24(Xinhuanet)-- Sun Jisheng, the only survivor so far of a coal mine blast happening on May 19 in north China's Hebei Province, was out of the critical condition early Monday, said sources of a local hospital.

The sources with the No. 226 Hospital of People's Liberation Army said Sun's body temperature, pulse and blood pressure all were stable.

Sun was sent to the hospital on early Saturday after staying more than 50 hours in the blasted coal mine.

The accident took place in the Nuan'erhe Coal Mine of the city of Chengde, leaving 45 miners killed and five others missing. Enditem
