Road accident kills nine, injures 25 in Jilin

CHANGCHUN, Oct. 3(Xinhuanet)-- Nine people were killed and 25 others injured when a bus crashed into a truck Monday in Tonghua county in northeast China's Jilin province, sources from the Jilin provincial government said.

The accident occurred at 4:00 a. m. when a tourist bus with 37 people on board crashed into a truck on a road and overturned near Wanwanchuan village.

The injured were immediately sent to a local hospital, and the cause of the accident in still under investigation. Enditem
