BEIJING, Oct.9(Xinhuanet)-- The 10th China Wuqiao International Circus Festival will be held in Shijiazhuang, capital of north China's Hebei Province from October 29 to November 6, according to the Ministry of Culture.

Known as Oriental Acrobatic Arena, the event was originated in 1987 and is held every other year. The festival this year is co-organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Hebei provincial government.

The theme of the festival is friendship, exchange, prosperity and development. More than 300 acrobats from 16 countries, including Russia, America, Germany and Spain, will give 32 performances.

Eight international judges including Urs Pilz, Artistic director of Festival International du Circus de Monte Carlo are invited to attend the festival.

During the festival, pictures and models of Festival International du Circus de Monte Carlo, Festival Mondial du Circusde Demain and Wuqiao International Circus Festival will be shown. Enditem
