BEIJING, Oct. 9(Xinhuanet)-- China has published its first English book on military strategy, sources with the People's Liberation Army(PLA) said on Sunday.

The English version of The Science of Military Strategy, the first of its kind in China, was published by the Military Science Publishing House, the sources said.

The book contains the major Chinese military theories, including the basics of strategic science and laws of modern warfare and strategy, featuring the new experience and guidelines of the PLA combat since 1990s, as well as issues on future warfare.

The book's Chinese version was first published in 2001. It took more than 20 military translators two years to finish the English version, the sources said. Enditem
