BEIJING, Nov. 11(Xinhuanet)-- Liu Qi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China(CPC) Central Committee, met here Friday with Hungarian Socialist Party(HSP) Chairman Hiller Istvan.

Liu, also secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, said that under the joint efforts of both sides, the exchanges between the CPC and the HSP and the friendly cooperation between the two nations would achieve further progress.

The two sides also exchanged views on further promoting party relations, local cooperation and other issues of common concern. Enditem
