Ceremony held to mark birth anniversary of Sun Yat-Sen

BEIJING, Nov. 12(Xinhuanet)-- A ceremony was held in Beijing on Saturday to commemorate the 139th birth anniversary of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen(1866-1925), the forerunner of the democratic revolution in China.

The the ceremony was held by the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC).

The Revolution of 1911, led by Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, brought to an end of the autocratic monarchical system that had been in place for more than 2,000 years in China. Enditem
