Senior CPC official leaves for two int'l meeting

BEIJING, Jan. 29(Xinhuanet)-- Zhang Zhijun, deputy head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China(CPC) Central Committee, left here Sunday to attend two international meetings.

As guest of the Socialist International, Zhang will attend the meeting of the Council of the Socialist International as the CPC representative. The meeting is due to be held in Greece between Jan. 30 and 31.

Zhang will also attend the Munich Conference on Security Policyas the representative of China. The meeting will be held in the German city between Feb. 3 and 5. Enditem
